Sachin to play against Sri Lanka
Ace Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar, who was forced to return to India before India’s World Cup match against Zimbabwe, due to the sudden death of his father, will be available to play against Sri Lanka on May 26.
According to the Board of Control for Cricket in India, Sachin may take a flight to London on May 24. India has already lost its first two league matches in the World Cup. Sachin’s return will be a big boost to the morale of a team that seems to be developing the habit of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
