South Africa remains bookmakers’ favorite to win World Cup

South Africa remain London bookmakers’ favorites at 5-2 to win the world cup while Australians Mark Waugh and Glenn McGrath are tipped to be the tournament’s top batsman and bowler. Indian batting genius Sachin Tendulkar is the joint third favourite with Jacques Kallis among batsmen.

William Hill gave the following odds on the world cup that starts on May 14:
