Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq on Thursday admitted that it would be tough for him to motivate his players for the last match in Karachi after the rout in the fourth one-dayer in Multan handed India the series.

Inzamam said his side had been thoroughly outplayed by India in all the departments of the game and he was very disappointed with the outcome.

"It would be very difficult after this loss to motivate the team. But I will try. We will also give a chance to those bowlers who have not played so far in the series," he said.

"India played well in all three departments of the game. We also did not bat well. I am very disappointed. It was a big series and we lost it," said the home team captain.

Inzamam did not think there was any devil in the wicket.

"It was a difficult wicket to bat on initially as it was helping the fast bowlers. But it was a good wicket. The boys tried their best but could not succeed. We also missed the services of a few players," he said.

Inzamam, however, did not think that the pressure of a home series was the reason for the defeat.

"The pressure was definitely there. But the players are used to it and that was not the reason for the defeat," he said.

The 35-year-old batsman praised India's young pacer Rudra Pratap Singh for his display today.

"R P Singh bowled very well. He bowled a good line and length. He's young and is bowling well," the Multan-born player said.

Inzamam defended the selection of opener Salman Butt who was a huge disappointment in the series.
