In a veiled criticism of captain Sourav Ganguly, batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar today said what is discussed in the dressing room should remain inside and not come out in the open."It's difficult for me to speak on the issue. But such talks should not come out of the dressing room and if it comes out then's it's not right. Dressing room discussions should remain within the dressing room only," Tendulkar said. "BCCI should speak to the players after they come back. We would get the real story once they talk to the (board) officials (after returning home)," he said. The champion batsman was reacting to reporters' query about his view on the recent spat between Ganguly and coach Greg Chappell in Zimbabwe. Tendulkar, who's recuperating from his elbow surgery undergone in late May in London, was not forthcoming whether he would take part in the Super Series ties in Australia for the Rest of the World squad next month. "I am fine and feeling good. But I can't say anything to the press (now). I would inform the Board tomorrow (on whether I would be playing in the Super Series or not)," he said. He has been given time till tomorrow by the ICC to declare his fitness for the series. Tendulkar was interacting with the media after spending time with cancer patients in the northwestern suburb of Andheri along with childhood friend Vinod Kambli. in-depth coverage > India in Zimbabwe 2005 > |
