Top PCB officials yet to submit account of tickets

Top Pakistan Cricket Board officials, including the Chairman and Chief Executive, are yet to submit details of tickets worth Rs 18.6 million which they took during the recent series against India.

The tickets were taken by the Board officials from the consultant during the five-match One-Day International series, which netted approximately Rs 65 million from ticket sales. This amount does not include the Rs. 18.6 million to be reconciled by the officials, local daily 'The News' reported today.

The break up of the tickets taken by the Board officials is approximately valued at the following rates for the one-dayers: First one-dayer in Karachi - Rs 3.3 million, second one-dayer in Rawalpindi - Rs 3.6 million, third one-dayer in Peshawar - Rs 1.5 million, fourth and fifth one-dayers in Lahore - Rs 4.7 and 5.5 million, it said.

The report said quoting sources that the officials ranging from Chairman Shaharyar Khan, Chief Executive Ramiz Raja and General Manager - Cricket Operations Zakir Khan took the tickets by signing receipts which are with the consultant and his team who were entrusted with the task of ticket printing and sales.

The consultant has sent the receipts to the Board for final reconciliation of ticket sales.
