According to the latest Samsung ratings, Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar has maintained his top spot as the best one-day batsman as India clinched the second spot from Pakistan in the team rankings and moved up to the fifth spot in the Test arena.Brian Lara has also maintained his top spot in the World Test batting list while South Africa's Makhaya Ntini continued to reign supreme in the World Test as well as ODI bowling, according to the current Samsung Cricket Ratings. Pakistan has slipped to the fourth position after it went down 4-1 against New Zealand in the recently concluded one-day series. Australia continues to rule the shorter version of the game with 81 points, a clear 11 points ahead of India who have 70 points to their credit. South Africa (66 points) and Pakistan (61 points) are at the third and the fourth spot respectively. They are followed by England (59 points), New Zealand (49 points), Sri Lanka (4 points), West Indies (40 points), Zimbabwe (22 points) and Kenya (10 points). Bangladesh, of course is languishing at the tail end having scored no points all. Meanwhile, V V S Laxman was among the top-ten in the individual rankings of Ceat cricket ratings after his fourth century, against Zimbabwe at Adelaide, last week. Laxman is ranked ninth with 67 points while Rahul Dravid is 11th, five points less than Laxman. Lara tops the list.
