Apart from the three, Subba Rao also summoned national cricket selector from the Central Zone, Sanjay Jagdale, for a hearing since the two selectors had wrote to the Commission that they had discussed the issue with him. "The preliminary inquiry is complete. I hope to submit my report to the Board in three or four days," Rao told reporters after the hearing, which lasted for six and a half-hours. There were one-to-one sessions with each of the four persons and there was also a cross examination session, though in a preliminary inquiry it is not always required, Rao said. "All the parties were given an opportunity to present their case. Everything was recorded and also the transcripts were done. Now I will go through all the recorded statements and form my opinion. Then I will submit the report to the BCCI." in-depth coverage > The Bribery Scandal in Indian Cricket > |
