Chasing a huge victory target of 317 runs, Kenya were bundled out for 140 runs in 46.5 overs. Kenyan skipper Steve Tikolo was the lone fighter with a splendid knock of 69 runs. Earlier, South African skipper Shaun Pollock won the toss and elected to bat. Led by a brilliant century by opener Herschelle Gibbs, the Proteas put up a mammoth total of 316 runs with the loss of five wickets in 50 overs. Gibbs top scored with 116 runs. Graeme Smith and Jacques Kallis chipped in with 69 and 60 runs respectively. Gibbs was adjudged the Man of the Match. South Africa will meet either India or England in the semi-finals.
