Champions Trophy: Lankans crush minnows Holland 21.01 IST 16th Sept 2002

Hosts Sri Lanka crushed minnows Holland by 206 runs in the fifth match of the ICC Champions Trophy at the Premadasa stadium on September 16.
Chasing a huge victory target of 293 runs, Holland were bundled out for 86 runs in 29.3 overs. Off-spin wizard Muttiah Muralitharan took four wickets.
Earlier, Lankan skipper Sanath Jayasuriya won the toss and elected to bat.
Opener Marvan Atapattu top scored with 101 runs, while Kumar Sangakkara chipped in with 41. Atapattu was adjudged the Man of the Match. Sangakkara was involved in five dismissals, four catches and one stumping.
Having won both its league matches are on the top of Pool D, Sri Lanka are through to the semi-finals.
The next match of the tournament is between the West Indies and Kenya at the SSC on Tuesday.
