The press conference was delayed by two hours to give travel-weary Indian players time to shake off their tiredness. After Zimbabwe, India are slated to play England on September 22 in a tough pool. India start favourites after a string of victories in England where they successfully chased a 325-run-target to lift the NatWest trophy. Ganguly did not sound unduly worried about being in the only group where both matches would be tough for all sides. "We play as it comes. If you are looking to win the tournament, you have to beat the best teams," he said. in-depth coverage > ICC Champions Trophy 2002 > |
