Leading the series 3-2, but disappointed on losing the last match by just two runs, India are likely to field their best playing eleven, replacing Sarandeep Singh with Harbhajan Singh. The Indian innings is most likely to be opened by the devastating pair of Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag, with skipper Sourav Ganguly coming at number three and Dinesh Mongia, Mohammed Kaif and Hemang Badani to follow. Mongia and Badani would be looking to rectify their faults as both got out to horrendous shots in the last match. England are most likely to stick to their winning combination and retaining the same side that won the thriller at Delhi. England are upbeat after bouncing back in the series with the victory on a good batting surface at Delhi and their coach Duncan Fletcher has showed confidence in his side saying that England will level the series with a win and if that happens, England would definitely take the honors. The pitch at Wankhede has traditionally been full of runs and is reputed to help the spinners later in the day. The swing bowlers do get a fair amount of assistance early in the day but this should not encourage the Indian skipper to field first in case he wins the toss. Ganguly won the toss and put England to bat in Cuttack and in Delhi and on both instances India lost.
