England coach Duncan Fletcher on Sunday told reporters that Lindsay had spoken to both the sides but decided against punishing anyone. "It shows he is not too serious about the issue," Mr. Fletcher said. Flintoff was seen abusing Sehwag after being hit for a few runs in the Chennai match but Fletcher justified the bowler's reaction saying he had not gone overboard. "As long as you make sure you don't cross the line, it’s within your rights. He was just making a point. He did not go overboard," Mr. Fletcher said. Fletcher said as a rule, fast bowlers are aggressive. "There are hardly any successful fast bowlers who are not aggressive," he said. in-depth coverage > India England Cricket Series > |
