Indian cricket team’s West Indies tour from April 2

India will begin a 62-day cricket tour of West Indies from April 2during which the team will play five Tests and an equal number of one-dayers.

The first Test will start at Bourda in Guyana from April 11 to 15. The Indian team will then leave for Trinidad to play the second Test from April 19 to 23, according to the itinerary released by the Indian Board (BCCI) in Mumbai on Monday.

Then, the visitors will play a three-day match against the West Indies Academy XI from April 26 to 28 followed by the third Test at the Kensington Oval (Barbados) from May 2 to 6.

The fourth Test is scheduled to be held at Antigua from May 10 to 14, the release added.

Sabina Park(Jamaica) will host the fifth and final test from May 18 to 22.

Sabina Park will also play host to the first two one-dayers on May 25 and 26. While the third will be at Kensington Oval on May 29, the last two matches will be played at Trinidad on June 1 and 2.

The Indian cricket team will leave for home on June 3, the release said.

Meanwhile, Zimbabwe, who are scheduled to arrive in India on February 12 on their 36-day tour of India will kick-off their campaign with a three-day match against the Board President's XI at Vijayawada from February 15 to 17.

The first two Test matches between Zimbabwe and India will be held at Nagpur (February 21-25) and Delhi (February 28-March 4), the release added.
