By IndiaExpress Bureau

Major Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore was felicitated by chief of Air Staff Chief Marshal S Krishnaswamy at Air Head Quarters in New Delhi today.

Krishnaswamy lauded Rathore's silver medal winning feat in the double trap shooting event at the Athens Games saying the Army man had "achieved the honour in a very short span of his taking up the sport (in 1998)", a press release said.

Rathore said, "apart from talent and natural ability, the discipline of shooting also requires a good intelligence quotient. We have no dearth of it in the Services. We must fully exploit it", the release added.
