Indian skipper Baichung Bhutia's exploits at the ASEAN club football tournament in Jakarta has won him a three-month contract with a top Malaysian club, Perak FC, starting next month.
Bhutia told 'Sahara Samay' that his club East Bengal will give him on loan to the Malaysian outfit.
"I have got an offer from Perek and I will be going there next month on loan from East Bengal," the Sikkimese said.
The talented footballer will be seen in action at the Malaysia Cup, the most prestigious of the three competitions in the annual Malaysian football calendar.
Bhutia will join the club on August 16.
This would be Bhutia's second association with a foreign club. He has earlier played in the English second division league with Bury FC.
Bhutia was the star of East Bengal's historic triumph at the ASEAN club tournament where he emerged the top-scorer with nine goals.
