According to his lawyer H S Anand, an application has been filed with the investigating officer in this connection. The sessions court, which had granted bail to Salman, had asked the actor to deposit his passport with police and take it back whenever he wanted to go abroad for professional work. That is why Salman has sought release of passport, and it was for the police to give it back to him, his lawyer said. Meanwhile, a magistrate will hear on November 16 Salman's plea for the return of Toyota Land Cruiser involved in the mishap. The actor said the vehicle had not been transferred in his name.
