"Salman had been subjected to an alcohol test for which he had tested positive. He has not tested positive for any drug," Joint Commissioner (Law and Order) Ahmad Javed said. Reports in a section of the media had claimed that Khan's medical test had revealed traces of morphine. Ahmad said, "The police report did not make any reference to traces of morphine found in his blood. The newspapers have erroneously reported in this matter". Ahmad had been appointed by Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Chhagan Bhujbal to conduct a high-level inquiry into the accident in which Salman had allegedly rammed his car into a bakery, killing one person and injuring four. Ahmad submitted his report to the government last week. in-depth coverage > Salman Khan's Road Rage > |
