Bollywood star Salman Khan was produced before a Metropolitan Magistrate Court soon after he gave himself up before suburban Bandra police on Monday. The actor, who was arrested in connection with a hit and run case involving him, has been remanded to three days police custody. The actor, who spent around two hours in the police lock up was subjected to interrogation by the police. His statement was also recorded. Earlier, Police arrested Salman son after he surrendered in the court after the prosecution decided to book him for culpable homicide not amounting to murder, a non-bailable offence. Salman surrendered before police on Monday shortly after a tougher charge of culpable homicide not amounting to murder was slapped on him in the hit-and-run case in the face of a public outcry that he was let off on a Rs 950 bail bond.
