By IndiaExpress Bureau
The Mumbai High Court on October 5 sent a notice to Bollywood actor Salman Khan to present himself before the court on Monday.
The court also issued orders to Salman’s family and friends asking them not to meet or contact any of the victims.
The court while hearing a Public Interest Litigation filed by social activists to review the Motor Vehicles Act, also pulled up the police officers handling the Salman case. The court has ordered them to hand over all documents related to the hit and run accident to the court by next week.
The judges also expressed anguish over the plight of victims and directed public prosecutor Jyoti Pawar to lend her assistance on the point of application of law in this case.
