The Salman ‘plot’ undergoes another twist
18.19 IST   04th Oct 2002

By IndiaExpress Bureau

The Salman Khan ‘saga’ is becoming curiouser and curiouser. The latest buzz is that the vehicle that rammed into a bakery on September 28, killing one person and injuring four others, does not belong to the actor!

Joint Commissioner (Law and Order) Ahmed Javed said that the Toyota Land cruiser that Salman was reportedly driving did not belong to him.

The police are now on the look out for Abdul Rahim in whose name the vehicle has been registered.

Ahmad, who is leading the probe into the case, said the police team were interrogating eyewitnesses besides examining documentary evidences and on-the-spot details.

Mr. Ahmad, who is conducting the investigation at the instance of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Chhagan Bhujbal, is expected to submit his report within a week.
