Bollywood star Salman Khan’s reckless driving killed one and injured four people after he lost control of his car and drove off the road into the people who were sleeping on a pavement in the Mumbai's posh Bandra district early on Saturday morning.According to the information revealed by the police sources Salman was himself driving his Toyota car when the accident took place around 3am near close to a bakery at Hill Road near Hotel Neel Sagar in Bandra. “One person died on the spot and the injured have been admitted to the Bhabha hospital in Bandra,” police spokesman said. Mumbai police has registered a case of rash and negligent driving against the actor, who surrendered to the Mumbai police hours after the accident. It is reported that Salman was accompanied by his guard who is presently being detained and questioned by Mumbai police. There are also some eyewitness accounts that after the accident Salman quarreled with some of the people who were present on the spot. Khan was recently in the news for his stormy relationship with former Miss World and actress Aishwarya Rai. |
