Wipro Systems to launch Java product

Wipro Systems, in a marked departure from its "project only" gameplan, is all set to launch a product in the international market. Not only that, the company will also market the product, which is yet to be christened, in India.

The package, slated for launch sometime in end-Feb, is an automation solution for service call-centres (a customer service set-up_, complete with web-based diagnostics, etc.

The first version of the package, to be delivered as a module of projects currently in progress, will incorporate web databases of customers' complaints, personnel equipped to handle specific classes of complaints, etc. It will also include databases of solutions to commonly encountered problems, and online status reports for customers.
