Texas Instruments launches world's fastest DSP
Texas Instrument's Bangalore DSP (Digital Signal Processing) design centre has once again made a major contribution to TI's latest trump card in DSP technology. More significantly, this contribution follows closely on the heels of its efforts in designing the first uniprocessor DSP-based hard disk controller, code named Ankoor, barely three months ago.The $13-billion semiconductor giant has yet again reinforced its leadership in DSP technology by delivering the world's most powerful DSP generator the TMS320C6x. And the Bangalore DSP design centre owns the sole responsibility for developing key simulation models and cDSP (customisable DSP) design kits required for software prototyping.
