This Chillout zone's a tad warm

This week Mukul is all set to give us info about Casa Piccola which he thinks can be called as a bistro. This place is for those who think they are young and cool but surely not for the old and the uncool. It offers you a cosy, nice and nifty interiors with those posters on the walls, large open-ended windows with loads of light streaming in and menu boasting of burgers, pizzas, steaks, soups, salads, sandwiches and loads of desserts, ice creams and shakes.

We asked for a grilled chicken sandwich and pepper steak with a side order of chicken and vegetable salad we were not given a choice of rare, medium or well-done and received instead what looked like a combination of all three. To be fair though, other places that do ask you how you'd like it done basically give you a choice between raw and burnt but at least they ask. Next they didn't have Pepsi's ("The delivery truck hasn't come in as yet today, sir"). Or even a plain soda ("But I will get it for you from the shop next door, madam"). And finally, the mustard (which I had to request for) had been vastly watered down.

On the other hand, the portions were generous enough for me to almost ask for a doggy bag and the meal tasted really good. Considering that the prices are much more reasonable than at most places of its kind and the kind of atmosphere this place has, the trade-off with service seems to me fairly equitable.
