CARROT HALWA

500 gms. Carrots, 300 gms. Sugar
100 gms. Ghee, 200 ml. Milk
2 Cardamoms , 1 tbsp raisins
1 tbsp cashewnuts


  • Grate the carrots finely. Fry in a little ghee and add the milk. Cook.
  • When the carrots are soft and the milk has evaporated, add the sugar and cook till the mixture is soft.
  • Add ghee and cook till the sweet is dry and ready.
  • Add cardamom powder, fried cashewnuts and raisins. Cool and serve with cream if desired.
